I have some questions regarding payment. Who should I ask?
If you have booked your course through an agent please ask your agent. If you have booked directly with IH London please come to Reception.
Can I take holiday during the course?
Yes. If you are booked for more than 12 weeks you can take a two-week or four-week break during the course. Please note that you can only come back from a break on a course start date.
Can I end my course earlier and get a refund?
No. International House strongly recommends that students purchase insurance in case they need to stop the course for any reason. Please note that the insurance we sell is for emergencies only and does not cover a ‘change of plans’.
Can I change class?
If you are not happy with your class, first discuss this with your teacher. If your teacher suggests a change, please see a Director of Studies on Mondays, Tuesdays or Fridays between 12:30 and 13:30 in Room 110.
Can I get a Council Tax Exemption?
If you and other residents in your house or flat are full-time students you may not not have to pay Council Tax. This depends on where you live and also the length of your course so please check with your local council first. If you are eligible for an exemption or a reduction please come and get a Council Tax letter from Reception.
