Our halls of residence, located in Clerkenwell and King’s Cross, are modern, well equipped and close to public transport. Staying in one of our student residences gives you the chance to live in the heart of London with all the bars, restaurants, theatres and visitor attractions on your doorstep.
Please note that Halls of Residence are only available for booking for students of 18 years or over.
Nido King's Cross
Opened in September 2007, Nido King's Cross is a new student residence. It is centrally located, being close to King's Cross station (only two stops to Holborn tube, which is within walking distance of IH London). All rooms are en-suite and equipped with kitchenettes and ample storage. Contact us about living at Nido King’s Cross.
Nido King’s Cross accommodation includes:
- 24 hour security seven days a week
- Nido café: open from 7am-11pm
- A fitness centre and studio - free for residents after a small induction fee
- Movie screening room
- Resident courtyard
- Wireless access in common areas
- Laundry in the building
- Bed linen and kitchen packs provided
The cost of Nido King's Cross depends on the duration of your stay. Please note the minimum booking period is FOUR WEEKS:
- 4-11 weeks: £325 per week
- 12-23 weeks: £315 per week
- 24 or more weeks: £305 per week
A £250 security deposit is required prior to arrival . Students need to provide International House with their credit card details by the Friday before their arrival as a guarantee.
Nido Spitalfields
Two-bedroom studios are also available at Nido Spitalfields
. 
The weekly rate is £275.
Nido Spitalfields is the tallest student residence in the world. It is centrally located close to the famous Gherkin building and just a few minutes' walk from Liverpool Street Station and Spitalfields Market.
Liberty House, Clerkenwell
Liberty House Halls of Residence are located in the cosmopolitan area of Clerkenwell in zone one, surrounded by bars, cafes and shops. The fashionable area of Islington is just around the corner, and both halls of residence are walking distance to Angel, Barbican and Old Street tube stations. Liberty House is a 20 minute walk to IH London. 
Liberty House offers single bedrooms and studio apartments. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom plus separate telephone and data points for high-speed Internet access. Students in single bedrooms share a kitchen and spacious living area, while studio apartments are self-contained with a fully fitted kitchen and spacious living/study area.

Halls of residence cancellation policy
1) If you have not yet arrived in London: A minimum of one week’s written notice is required for refunds that are the direct result of cancellations or changes to your arrival and departure dates.
2) If you have already arrived in London: We regret that no refund can be offered for cancellation and/or changes to your arrival/departure dates once already enrolled at IH London.
