Nights out
London has a varied and thriving nightlife with thousands of bars, pubs, clubs, cinemas, theatres and gig venues. From the Indie scene of Camden to the colourful life of Soho and laid back atmosphere of the South Bank, there really is something for everyone. We organise regularly nights out in and around the International House London area.
A little bit of history
See some of London’s famous historical landmarks with trips to Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Trafalgar Square. For those who like to see history in action, we organise trips to the Old Bailey to watch trials taking place in this historic old building, while tours of Arsenal Football Ground offer slightly more modern history.
Art and culture
Rich in art and culture, London boasts many interesting places to visit. We take students on trips to see portraits in the National Gallery; auctions at the world-famous Christies; musicals at the theatre; tours and live recordings at the BBC studios; contemporary art at the Tate Modern and live Shakespeare plays at the Globe Theatre.
Day trips
Why stop at London? We run excursion to some other famous places in the UK so you get even more from your trip. The IH London Social Team organise full day tours, with professional guides and coach travel, to places like Cambridge, Stonehenge, Rochester, Bath, Brighton, The Cotswolds, Windsor & Hampton Court and Stratford-upon-Avon, the home of Shakespeare.
