English for International Lawyers (group course)
English for International Lawyers (group course) is for newly-qualified or practising lawyers who need to use English in their work.
The programme focuses on developing the overall ability of participants to use English effectively in their legal work, in order to communicate precisely and efficiently.
English for International Lawyers looks at the legal English you need for:
- understanding legal texts
- meetings, negotiations and discussions in a legal context
- writing and/or summarising contracts
- telephone communication
- giving presentations
- advocacy
- advising clients and/or colleagues.
English for International Lawyers: course information
- One week full-time course with six 55-minute lessons each day from 09.00 - 12.00 and 13.15 - 16.15. Total lesson hours per week: 27 hours and 30 minutes.
- The maximum group size for the English for International Lawyers group course is six.
- Lower intermediate (CEF B1) is the MINIMUM level of English you need to take this course. Check your level with our online language level test .
- Minimum entry age is 21 years old.
