Current Trends: Theory and Practice in English Language Teaching (ELT)

Current Trends: Theory and Practice in English Language Teaching is a special teaching development short course for English language teachers. It is aimed at teachers working in the UK or overseas whose first language is not English.

Over two weeks we look at the underlying principles of teaching a second language, and give you practical techniques for implementing ELT methodology.

You'll learn how to motivate students, how to use technology in your lessons, and how to design a syllabus. We also show you how to cope with large classes, how to test students, and how to implement task-based learning.
