IH Practical Teacher

The IH Practical Teacher is a special two week teaching development course for English language teachers. It is aimed at teachers working in the UK or overseas whose first language is not English. In two weeks we will demonstrate practical techniques and approaches for teaching English as a second language.

We cover practical activities for listening, speaking, reading and writing, as well as showing you how to use technology in English language learning.

We look at the use of songs, games and videos for teaching second language English, as well as task-based learning strategies, and tips for preparing students for exams.
