IH TESOL Certificate (full-time)

The IH TESOL Certificate (full time) is an initial English teaching certificate aimed at new teachers, or teachers with a little formal training whose first language is not English. It will introduce you to the theory and practice of teaching English to speakers of other languages. You will learn how to develop the speaking, listening, reading and writing skills of your students.

The IH TESOL Certificate is not the same as our CELTA training course, although it has a similar structure of lectures, seminars and supervised teaching practice. To join the IH TESOL Certificate you need an awareness of English and a competence in the language, equivalent to Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) or CEF C1.
