This course is designed for people who have bought a property abroad or who often spend time overseas and have some knowledge of the language already.

The programme will focus on cultural aspects of local life and practical language useful when living overseas.
Study a different topic every lesson
- Do's and Don't's of living abroad
- Local geography & describing property - exteriors, interiors
- Dealing with builders/plumbers, etc-negotiating and complaining
- Shopping for food and medicines
- Building relationships with local neighbours & socialising
More info on the level: To join this course students should be able to deal with situations necessary to survive in an environment where the target language is spoken e.g. travel, accommodation, shopping, socialising. Their comprehension of the language is also limited. They use mainly present tense, with some set phrases for the past. This course is recommended to our students who just finished our 11 week Beginners Continuation course or those who studied the language for about 50 hours.
