Briefing on Russian Business CultureI thought your seminar was excellent - very insightful and I do enjoy your presentation style. The feedback was great - all good or excellent. UKTI pre-RUSSIA trade mission seminar. On Business Cultural Trainers Certificate (BCTC)I now feel much more confident and knowledgeable about doing cultural training for business clients. I really appreciate the valuable information, professional expertise and follow up support provided by this course. This course will set me up as a cultural trainer. It will help me organise training courses generally. It's helped me realise some of my own faux pas and preconceptions in dealing with other cultures. It will add a facet to communications training beyond just teaching English. I appreciated the personal approach and the dynamism of the training. I appreciated having blank versions of the material for my own use but would like the names of any references written on the board. A new string to my bow. Impressive range of content, excellent delivery and well fitted to objectives. Stimulating, useful and also very enjoyable. Thank you for a great experience. On ChinaI thought the training was really good. It was particularly useful because the course didn’t simply cover the cultural differences, but went on to consider how those differences can impact our working relationships and strategies for improving those relationships. The training course was excellent, good handouts. Barry knows his stuff and got his points across well and has lots of experience to refer to. I thought the cultural training course was excellent. This would be useful to any employee who is dealing with overseas clients. I thought the handouts and exercises were of a high standard and very useful. Barry’s style of training was very relaxed and he had a good rapport with the delegates. On working with INDIAExcellent training. Really got me thinking. I understand the Indian way of life and what their issues/ priorities are and how to behave in different situations. I thought the session was very informative and aimed at the right level. Plenty of practical tips and the cultural preferences questionnaire will be particularly useful. Plenty of interaction and no time to get bored. Very interesting. Plenty of useful information. Interesting and informative – it was well paced so that I didn’t feel rushed or bored. I didn’t need to suppress a yawn at any point, which is a rarity! Barry’s stories/anecdotes obviously showed he had tremendous enthusiasm and knowledge of the subject. On Doing business with ITALYA good balance of theory and practical treatment of real problems. The seminar helped me understand some of the behaviour I had already seen. Enjoyable, informative and most of all, practically useful. Praise For The British Cultural Trainer’s CertificateI found most useful the stimulating combination of input on intercultural theory with practical activities. It has given me greater insight into how my trainees function as (French) people and in business and will help me teach them better. The course brought me closer to the business world. (Business English teacher in France) The course was packed with information and demanded constant, full attention. (Good!) Lots of immediate opportunities for language teaching. (teacher of English as a foreign language). In true IH style, I thought it was excellent. (British teacher) Thanks for the wonderful seminar! I am looking forward to a possible workshop in summer.
