You must submit the following information and tasks:
- Complete the application form
- A lesson plan and lesson evaluation: please send a lesson plan for a lesson you have recently taught. Give clear information at the beginning about the target group/level/ context, and state your aims as precisely as possible. Bear in mind that the reader of this plan cannot infer what is not stated, so please write it as explicitly as possible.
For example, if you intend to clarify the meaning of an area of grammar or lexis, show precisely how you view the meaning and how you will deal with it.
Give a thorough account of your procedures in terms of classroom management, patterns of interaction and approximate timings. Be sure to include a copy of any materials you are using.
Please send us your own written evaluation of the effectiveness of the lesson you have described above with particular reference to strengths and weaknesses in your planning and teaching.
- A completed copy of the Language Awareness Task: please telephone us immediately if this is not included with the brochure or if you are unable to download it from the website.
- Essay: please telephone us immediately if this is not included with the brochure or if you are unable to download it from the website.

teaching, and ideally, who have observed your lessons (e.g. your Director of Studies)

experience, starting with your most recent post, giving precise information i.e. name and
address of school, dates, level/ages taught, types of class (e.g. General English, FCE etc.)
and any post you have held.
- Materials: please send a brief list of published materials you have used consistently
or are very familiar with (course books, supplementary books, and other materials).
- Disclaimer: management reserves the right to postpone or cancel any course due to insufficient student numbers or operational problems.
