Course options

International House offers 2 modes of delivery in Educational Management Training Programmes. We offer online management training modules as well as face-to-face taught courses.

Face-to-Face training

Educational Management: Skills and Approaches
This course is principally aimed at practising academic managers who wish to explore management theory and practice

Training the Trainer
The course is designed to provide potential and practising teacher trainers with a range of skills and an understanding of a variety of approaches which can be used to train teachers

Online Training

Diploma in ELT Management Skills
The Diploma provides both theoretical and practical training for managers in the world of ELT which will make a significant difference to how they operate on a day to day basis. Read more about the Diploma in ELT Management Skills.

Management Training Modules
Modules offered as part of the Diploma in ELT Management Skills are also available individually for managers who wish to develop one particular aspect of their skill set.

Diploma in ELT Management Skills vs. Management Training Modules

4 module plus the Extended Assignment Module must be selected from the menu

Any number of modules may be selected from the menu

A 2,000 word written assignment is set for each module

No written work is required

An Extended Assignment Module which results in a final 3,500 word assignment is compulsory

No written work is required

Successful completion of all modules and assignments will gain the International House Diploma in ELT Management Skills

Successful completion of the module will gain a module-specific certificate

This Diploma is credit-bearing
[20 credits] to the MSc in TESOL offered by Aston University

Individual modules have no credit-bearing status

Participants may begin with individual modules and move to the full Diploma programme later in discussion with the Programme Manager.
