Course overview:
- The course gives you a wide range of language and exam skills needed to pass the Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE)
- CPE raises linguistic standard to that of a native speaker and is good for academic studies.
- There is an entrance test to join the course. This will be sent to you by post before the course starts.
- The Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) Evening Course is for upper intermediate (CEF B2) to advanced (CEF C2) levels.
- Four lessons per week (55 minutes each) for 15 weeks. Lessons are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6.30-8.30pm with a 10 minute break. Total lesson time per week: 3 hours and 40 minutes.
- Minimum entry age is 16 years old.
- The maximum class size is 14 students.
- Expect to receive at least two hours of homework every evening.
Visas
If you require a visa, please note that because this course is for less than 15 hours a week, we understand it does not meet the requirements of the United Kingdom Border Agency (UKBA) for a General Student Visa (GSV).
Students can apply for a Student Visitor Visa (SVV) to attend this course.
