IELTS English Evening Course

The IELTS English Evening Course gives you the flexibility to work during the day and study for your IELTS qualification in the evening.

Course overview

  • Four lessons per week (55 minutes each) for four weeks. Classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6.30-8.30pm with a 10 minute break. Total lesson time per week: 3 hours and 40 minutes.
  • An entrance test is required before joining the IELTS English Evening Course. You should be of upper-intermediate level (CEF B1).
  • The course focuses on academic English language skills, along with IELTS test practice and a mock exam.
  • An IELTS course book, supplementary book and practice test book are provided to support your studies.
  • International House London is a recognised IELTS Test Centre and offers regular IELTS test dates throughout the year.
  • The minimum course entry age is 16 and the maximum class size is 14 students.

Visas

If you require a visa, please note that because this course is for less than 15 hours a week, we understand it does not meet the requirements of the United Kingdom Border Agency (UKBA) for a General Student Visa (GSV).

Students can apply for a Student Visitor Visa (SVV) to attend this course.
