IELTS Preparation One Week Course

The IELTS One-Week Preparation Course is an intensive course that focuses specifically on exam techniques. This course is ideal if you have already achieved your desired English language level and want to get the most you can from sitting the IELTS test in London.

The IELTS One-Week Preparation Course runs every week of the year according to demand. The course always starts on Monday, except in the case of Bank Holidays, when it starts on a Tuesday. Please indicate the week you would like to start on when applying.

Course overview

  • 25 lessons per week (55 minutes per lesson) for one week. Monday to Friday from 9-12pm (with a 15 minute break), and 1.15- 3.15pm (with a 10 minute break). Total course lesson time: 22 hours and 55 minutes.
  • Courses which fall on a Bank Holiday will start on the Tuesday and run for four days at a reduced (pro-rata) fee.
  • You will need to have an Upper Intermediate (CEF B1) or Advanced (CEF C1) level.
  • The course prepares candidates who need to take the Academic module, and as such it focuses predominantly on academic English language skills.
  • The course is not suitable for lower level students and for candidates wishing to take the General Training Module.
  • A mock IELTS test is carried out under exam conditions with individual feedback on performance.
  • Minimum age of student is 16 years old.
  • Study in a maximum group size of 14 students.
