On Friday 12 and Saturday 13 November, International House London, will host this hugely popular event for Arabic, French, Italian and Spanish Language Teaching.
The conference costs £50 for BOTH DAYS. Book your place now >>
Delivered in collaboration with IH Milan, IH Rome, IH Barcelona and Spanish in Motion (LSE), the event is a great opportunity to network and exchange ideas with other language teachers.
As usual we are collaborating with leading Spanish and French educational publishers, Difusión and Maison des Langues. This year’s event is sponsored by the Arabic Association.
As a result of your feedback from the 2009 Modern Languages Conference , this year’s focus is Teaching Language for Business purposes and Using New Technology in the classroom. The conference will run over two days instead of one to help you get the most out of the event.
Speakers include Maureen McGarvey, author of IH London’s online Education Management Training programme; Frances Coombes, author and lecturer in Neurolinguistic Programming for Modern Business Language teaching; and Isabel Gines, a creator of NetLanguages.
We’re also delighted to welcome Professor Mahmoud M Al-Batal from the University of Texas, Austin, author of Al Kitaab, one of the most popular manuals for the teaching of Arabic as a foreign language.
The Modern Languages Teachers' Conference 2010 costs £50 FOR THE TWO DAYS.
Day one’s programme is delivered in English; Day Two is delivered in your chosen language: French , Italian or Spanish . The whole conference (Day One and Two) will also be delivered in Arabic .
