Choose one of the Professional Internship Programmes. If you are unsure what option is right
for you contact an International House coordinator for help
Professional Internship Programme
The coordinator will tell you the cost of your chosen study programme
Complete a written level test (if your level has not already been tested)
If your level is Upper-intermediate, you can then submit your application
Your application should include:
- A completed English Plus Work Experience Application form
- Your C.V. (Curriculum Vitae, Resumé)
- A letter of motivation (addressed to "Dear Sir/Madam", explaining why
you would like to work in your chosen area of business and what skills you can contribute)
- An accommodation application form
Our work experience officer will check all the details and if we can find a suitable
placement we will process the booking. Provided your level of English is high enough, and
provided the objectives and chosen job are both realistic and not too specific, the
application will usually be accepted immediately
You will receive information about your application, and our Work Experience Officer
will inform you of progress as soon as possible. It will normally take up to six weeks to
find a suitable work placement
You may be asked to attend an interview with the company after you have arrived in
England. Please ask at reception for directions to the interview location
