It is important to remember that you will not be able to do exactly the same job as
you would in your home country. The speed and level of the language used in your work
experience company will limit the complexity of the tasks you can realistically achieve.
This should be seen in a positive light, as it will help you to become more confident
No salary will be paid during your work placement as the objectives of the course are
educational. It is not meant to be an opportunity to earn money, but a chance to gain
professional experience. Your company may pay your travel expenses, if requested
Once the application forms are sent to International House, no aspect of the work
placement or course may be changed, so please ensure that all details are correct before
sending. If you cancel there will be a 100.00 GBP cancellation fee for Work Experience,
along with the normal cancellation fee for the General English course
