Arabic Saturday Cultural Language Course: From B1 Intermediate to C2 Advanced

The Arabic Saturday Cultural Language Course is great for those with intermediate level Arabic (level B1 and above) who wish to develop their language skills and broaden their knowledge of Arabic culture.

Each start date covers a range of cultural topics. Courses run for four consecutive weeks and classes take place each Saturday from 10.30 – 13.30.

21 April 2012: Learning Arabic with music
Discover Arabic music - from traditional songs to the latest pop, hip hop and soul. Over four weeks you’ll discover the meaning and history behind a variety of Arabic songs - and even have a chance to sing a long! Speaking all in Arabic, you will discuss the songs and artists with your teacher with class activities to improve your vocabulary and grammar designed around the music.

Course overview

• Course level is B1 or above. If you are at beginner or elementary level, choose a Saturday General Language Programme course.
• Arabic language teaching at International House is dynamic and interactive. Your teacher will speak in Arabic and use authentic, culturally enriching material.
• You will study in a small group with an average class size of 6-8 students (max 14), and the minimum age is 18.
