Arabic General Programme: Upper Intermediate
Our Arabic General Programme: Upper Intermediate is an 11 week evening course for people who have already reached an intermediate level speaking Arabic. Classes are once a week on Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm-8.30pm.
This course is ideal if you are interested in the Arabic language and want to improve your conversational Arabic further. Your teacher will speak in Arabic and use interactive devices and authentic material to improve your comprehension. You will practise your language skills with group talks, discussions and presentations. With eight levels of study, you can move up through the levels as your Arabic speaking improves.

Course overview
- We will assess your ability at lesson one, as well as monitoring your progress throughout the course, to ensure you are studying at the right level.
- General courses are 11 weeks long and there are four 11 week terms each year. Booking more than one term is cheaper, but courses must be taken back to back.
- The average class size is 6-8 students (max 14), and the minimum age is 16.

How we teach
Learning a language at International House London focuses on speaking and doing rather than book learning. From lesson one your teacher will speak to you in the target language. Pictures, role play, props and film will help you understand quickly, making the learning experience dynamic and enjoyable.
