Intensive General English Group Course

Students in an English lesson The Intensive General English Group Course follows the same programme as the 15 hour Standard Course but includes two extra lessons each day to help you improve English language skills. The extra lessons help to increase your confidence when speaking English or writing English, as well as looking at reading skills.

Intensive English - Course overview:

• 25 lessons per week (55 minutes each), Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 12.00 with a 15 minute break and from 13.15 to 15.15 with a 10 minute break every day. Total lesson time each week: 22 hours and 55 minutes.
• You can study for any duration from two to 48 weeks.
• This course covers core English language skills with an emphasis on improving your fluency and building confidence when speaking English.
• The additional lessons allow you to focus on reading and writing skills or speaking skills.
• The course caters for students from Elementary level (CEF A2) to Advanced (CEF C2) - see the language levels chart
• If your course is 24 weeks or longer you can transfer to a Cambridge Exam Preparation or IELTS Course at no extra cost depending on your level.
• The maximum class size is 14 students - with a class average of ten.
• Minimum entry age for this course is 16 years old.
