Benefits of one-to-one English lessons

One-to-one tuition can help you make faster progress learning English because you will have a dedicated tutor who is completely focused on your needs and language goals. One-to-one lessons can be very useful for beginner English speakers, to get you ready to join a group course. One-to-one lessons are also helpful if you need to practise English language skills in a specific area – for example if you are preparing for an exam.

What do one-to-one English lessons involve?

• English One-to-one Flexible Lessons are 55 minutes each and can be taken in the morning or afternoon. They can also be combined with a group course if you would like to practise English with other people of a similar ability.
• Before you start we will analyse your needs and create a personalised learning plan. Each lesson is built around your individual needs and learning style to help you make fast progress.
• You can focus on listening, reading, speaking, writing English or a combination of the four. Specialist tuition for IELTS and Cambridge Exam Preparation is available.
• Tuition for the TOEIC and TOEFL Exams can also be delivered on a one-to-one basis at IH London.
• For 1-9 lessons, tuition is £75 per lesson. For 10 or more lessons, tuition is £70 per lesson.
• English One-to-one tuition is purchased by the lesson: you can buy one to 40 lessons per week.
• Minimum age is 16. In certain circumstances, people under 16 are accepted.
