English One-to-one Intensive Lessons

English One-to-one Intensive Lessons offer a personalised learning experience that will help you speak better English quickly. One-to-one English lessons for beginners are a good way to learn basic skills quickly, before joining a group course. One-to-one lessons are also helpful if you need to practise English language skills in a specific area – for example if you are preparing for an exam.

Intensive lessons happen six times a day: three lessons in the morning and three in the afternoon. If you prefer you can take semi-intensive One-to-one English lessons to fit around a group course, or buy flexible one-to-one English lessons as and when you need them.

Tuition overview

• Intensive English One-to-one tuition includes six 55-minute lessons per day plus a 15 minute break in the morning and afternoon.
• Before tuition begins we conduct a detailed analysis of your needs, creating a personalised learning plan to help you practise the English language skills that you need.
• You will make fast progress towards better English because each lesson is built around your individual needs and learning style.
• You can focus on listening, reading, speaking, writing English or a combination of the four. Specialist tuition for IELTS and Cambridge Exam Preparation is available.
• Tuition for the TOEIC and TOEFL Exams can only be delivered on a one-to-one basis at IH London.
• Minimum age is 16. In certain circumstances, people under 16 are accepted. Please contact us for further details.
• One-to-one tuition is available to all levels of English speaker.
