English One-to-one Semi-Intensive Lessons offer a personalised learning experience that will help you speak better English quickly. One-to-one English lessons for beginners are a good way to learn basic skills before joining a group course. One-to-one lessons are also helpful if you need to practise English language skills in a specific area – for example if you are preparing for an exam.

You can take semi-intensive lessons in the morning or afternoon, which means they’re easy to fit around a group course, or other commitments. If you have more time, or want to make faster progress, you can take all-day Intensive English lessons , or you can simply buy one-to-one lessons at times to suit you with our English One-to-one Flexible Tuition .

Tuition overview

• Semi-Intensive English One-to-one includes three 55-minute lessons per day, plus a 15 minute break, in the morning or afternoon.
• Before tuition begins we conduct a detailed analysis of your needs, creating a personalised learning plan to help you practise the English language skills that you need.
• You will make fast progress towards better English because each lesson is built around your individual needs and learning style.
• You can focus on listening, reading, speaking, writing English or a combination of the four. Specialist tuition for IELTS and Cambridge Exam Preparation is available.
• Tuition for the TOEIC and TOEFL Exams can only be delivered on a one-to-one basis at IH London.
• Minimum age is 16. In certain circumstances, people under 16 are accepted. Please contact us for further details.
• One-to-one tuition is available to all levels of English speaker.
