Standard Plus General English Group Course

Learning English in a small group Our Standard Plus General English Group Course will help you improve English language skills in the core areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing English. It follows the same structure as the Standard Course but includes an extra lesson each day to concentrate on specific English skills that students need help with. Areas in which we might practise English language skills include Grammar and Speaking; Listening and Speaking; Vocabulary and Speaking; Writing and Speaking, or an Introduction to Business English.

Standard Plus English - course overview:

• 20 lessons per week (55 minutes each), Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 12.00 with a 15 minute break and from 12.15 - 13.10. Total lesson time each week: 18 hours and 20 minutes.
• Study for any duration from two to 48 weeks.
• This course covers core English language skills with an emphasis on improving your fluency and building confidence when speaking English.
• The additional lesson each day allows you to focus on a specific language area.
• The course caters for students from Elementary level (CEF A2) to Advanced (CEF C2) - see the English language levels chart .
• If your course is 24 weeks or longer you can transfer to a Cambridge Exam Preparation or IELTS Course at no extra cost depending on your level.
• The maximum class size is 14 students - with a class average of ten.
• Minimum entry age for this course is 16 years old.
