Advanced French (General Programme)

Advanced French (General Programme) is an 11 week evening course for people who want to speak fluent French with confidence and accuracy. Classes are once a week on Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm-8.30pm.

Advanced French is suitable if you already have the French language skills to deal with highly specialised tasks.

International House is just a few minutes from Covent Garden, so it's a great place to study if you want French lessons in London.

Advanced French: Course overview

• Your teacher will speak French and use presentations, group discussions and authentic French material to broaden your vocabulary and improve your pronunciation.
• We will assess your ability at lesson one, as well as monitoring your progress throughout the course, to make sure you are studying French at the right level.
• General French language courses are 11 weeks long and there are four 11 week terms each year.
• The average class size is 6-8 students (max 14), and the minimum age is 16.
