Pre Intermediate French (General Programme)

Pre Intermediate French (General Programme) is an 11 week evening course for people who want to learn to speak French in London. Classes are once a week on Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm-8.30pm.

This level of French tuition is ideal if you have studied French in the past, and can communicate in simple everyday situations. You can progress to the next level as your French conversation improves. Take our online French test if you are not sure which level to start at.

Pre Intermediate French: Course overview

• French language teaching at International House is dynamic and interactive. Your teacher will speak French and use props, authentic material, and group exercises to help build your understanding.
• We will assess your ability at lesson one, as well as monitoring your progress throughout the course, to make sure you are studying French at the right level.
• General French language courses are 11 weeks long and there are four 11 week terms each year.
• The average class size is 6-8 students (max 14), and the minimum age is 16.
