French Survival Course: One lesson a week

Our French Survival Course: One lesson a week is ideal if you want to learn to speak French for the first time. (You can study Survival French twice a week if you prefer).

Over five weeks, we will teach you the basic words and phrases to get more out of a holiday or business trip. French teaching at International House is dynamic and interactive: your teacher will speak French and use props and pictures to help you understand.

Survival French course overview

• We focus on simple French conversation skills to help give you practical language skills for travelling and socialising. Each lesson develops a language skill for a different tourist scenario.
• The course runs once a week on Monday evenings from 6.30-8.30pm for five weeks (10 lessons).
• The average class size is 6-8 students (maximum 14) and the minimum entry age is 16 years old.
