One-to-one German Tuition (30 hours)
For complete German immersion, intensive one-to-one lessons are the ideal way to make rapid progress. One-to-one German tuition focuses on your personal language needs and objectives, with a pre-course needs analysis guiding the syllabus. One-to-one German language classes can be delivered at International House London or in your place of work.
Tuition overview
- One-to-one German lessons are designed to meet your exact requirements. We will conduct a pre-courses analysis of your needs to guide the tuition structure. You can choose to focus on general or business language skills.
- Individual tuition is open to all levels, from beginners through to advanced German speakers.
- Minimum age is 16 years old.
- Buying one-to-one tuition in blocks of 15 or 30 hours works out more cheaply (see table below). Please contact Claire Bowden on 020 7611 2424 or email claire.bowden@ihlondon.co.uk to arrange when you want to take lessons.

Take the online German test
Take our online test to discover your language level and ability. When you arrive at IH London we will assess you in a first lesson (other languages) to ensure that you are studying with students of a similar level.
How We Teach
At International House London, we focus on communication and speaking, with student to student interaction being used rather than a more traditional lecturing approach. This makes our English and Modern Language courses both exciting and rewarding, with progress being made very quickly.
