German Saturday Cultural Language Course: From B1 Intermediate to C2 Advanced
The German Saturday Cultural Language Course is great for those with intermediate to advanced level German (level B1 and above) who wish to develop their language skills and broaden their knowledge of German culture.
Each start date covers a range of cultural topics. Courses run for four consecutive weeks and classes take place each Saturday from 10.30 – 13.30.

21 April 2012: Learning German with music
Discover German music - from traditional songs to the latest pop, hip hop and soul. Over four weeks you’ll discover the meaning and history behind a variety of German songs - and even have a chance to sing a long! Speaking all in German, you will discuss the songs and artists with your teacher with class activities to improve your vocabulary and grammar designed around the music.
Course overview
- Course level is B1 or above.
- German language teaching at International House is dynamic and interactive. Your teacher will speak in German and use authentic, culturally enriching material.
- You will study in a small group with an average class size of 6-8 students (max 14), and the minimum age is 18.
