Elementary Italian (General Programme)

Elementary Italian (General Programme) is an 11 week evening course for people who want Italian lessons in London. Elementary Italian lessons are once a week on Thursday evenings from 6.30pm-8.30pm.

This level of Italian tuition is ideal if you have already completed a Beginners Italian course, or introductory level course. You will study in a small group, with lots of pair work and tasks to practise the Italian conversation skills you need for real-life scenarios.

We offer Italian classes at eight different levels so you can progress at your own pace as your conversational Italian improves. Take our online Italian test if you are not sure which level to start at.

Elementary Italian: Course overview

• Italian language classes at International House are dynamic and interactive. Your teacher will speak in Italian throughout the lesson and use pictures, audio clips, video and internet resources to help you understand.
• We will assess your ability at lesson one, as well as monitoring your progress throughout the course, to make sure you are always learning Italian at the right level.
• General Italian language courses are 11 weeks long and there are four 11 week terms each year.
• The average class size is 6-8 students (max 14), and the minimum age is 16.
