Our Italian Survival Course: Two lessons a week is ideal if you are learning Italian for the first time. (You can study Survival Italian once a week if you prefer).
Over five weeks, we will teach you the basic conversational Italian words and phrases to get more out of a holiday or business trip. Italian lessons at International House are dynamic and interactive: your teacher will speak Italian and use props and pictures to help you understand.

Course overview
- The Survival Italian language course focuses on the practical language skills you need for travelling and socialising. Each lesson develops a language skill for a different tourist scenario.
- The course runs twice a week on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6.30-8.30pm for five weeks (20 lessons).
- The average class size is 6-8 students (maximum 14) and the minimum course entry age is 16 years old.

How we teach
Learning a language at International House London focuses on speaking and doing rather than book learning. From lesson one your teacher will speak to you in the target language. Pictures, role play, props and film will help you understand quickly, making the learning experience dynamic and enjoyable. All our teachers are native speakers so you'll have the added benefit of an authentic insight into the culture and countries behind the language.
