Beginner Spanish (General Programme)

Our Beginner Spanish (General Programme) is an 11 week evening language course for people who want to learn to speak Spanish in London. Classes are once a week on Wednesday evenings from 6.30pm-8.30pm.

You will study Spanish in a small group and your teacher will use lots of interactive devices to help you understand basic words and phrases. Our beginner Spanish classes are an excellent introduction to the language, with lots of opportunity in class for Spanish conversation practice and listening tasks.

We offer Spanish classes at eight different levels so you can progress at your own pace as your basic Spanish conversation improves.

Beginner Spanish: Course Overview

• Beginner Spanish lessons at International House are dynamic and interactive. Your teacher will speak in Spanish and use pictures, video clips, props and games to help you understand the language.
• We will assess your ability at lesson one, as well as monitoring your progress throughout the course, to make sure you are studying Spanish at the right level.
• General Spanish language courses are 11 weeks long and there are four 11 week terms each year.
• The average class size is 6-8 students (max 14), and the minimum age is 16.
