IH London receives excellence in language education accreditation
International House London was inspected by Eaquals in August 2014 and met the high standards required for Eaquals accreditation.
Eaquals is a Pan-European association of language training providers that aims to promote and guarantee quality in modern language teaching institutions. To achieve these aims it has established and published a demanding set of criteria for accreditation.
Following the two day school inspection Eaquals inspectors judged the teaching, the course programmes and course organisation, the learning resources, and the testing and evaluation at IH London to be of a high quality.
It was found that the institution takes great care to protect the welfare of its clients and staff, and all publicity materials produced by the institution are accurate and truthful.
The Inspectors identified points of excellence in the following categories:
- Management and administration
- Teaching and learning
- Course design and supporting systems
- Assessment and certification
- Academic resources
- Learning environment
- Client services
- Quality assurance
- Staff profile and development
- Staff employment terms
- Internal communications
- External communications
Commenting on the accreditation Steve Brent said: “This is fantastic recognition for all teachers and support staff here at IH London whose enthusiasm and commitment make our school what it is today”.
International House London has previously been inspected four times by Eaquals inspectors since 2003 and received Eaquals accreditation on each occasion.
