OET opens five new test venues in the UK
Occupational English Test (OET) opens five new test venues in the UK with International House London.
OET, the English language test for healthcare professionals, will be available at five new venues in the UK from January 2018. The new test venues in Birmingham, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Cambridge, Chelmsford will be managed by International House London.
OET (Occupational English Test) is an Australian-developed English language test which assesses language communication skills of healthcare professionals, and it has recently been accepted by the Nursing and Midwifery Council in the UK.

OET is an international English language test that assesses the language communication skills of healthcare professionals who seek to register and practise in an English-speaking environment.
OET results are accepted by healthcare boards and councils in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Dubai and Namibia as proof of English language proficiency for registration purposes. It is also recognised by the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection and Immigration New Zealand for all visa categories where an English test may be required.
