UFP Entry Requirements
At IH London we look at every application for our University Foundation Programme individually. This is because the University Foundation Programme entry requirements vary and depend on the student to some extent.

In general, to join the University Foundation Programme you need have completed and achieved good marks in your high school diploma (the equivalent of 11 years of education in your own country). The following school-leaving qualifications meet our entry requirements:
- Arab States - Tawjihiya, Thanawia, General Secondary School Certificate
- Brunei - O Levels
- China - Senior High School Certificate
- Europe - Secondary School Leaving Certificate
- Greece / Cyprus - Apolytirion
- India - CBSE or ICSE
- Japan - School Leaving Certificate
- Malaysia - SPM
- Nigeria - West Africa Examinations Council
- Pakistan - Intermediate Certificate
- Korea - School Leaving Certificate
- Taiwan - Senior High School Certificate
- Thailand - Mathayom 6
- Turkey - State/Private High School Diploma
English language entry requirements
Applicants to the University Foundation Programme must prove an intermediate competence in English with the equivalent of an IELTS score of 5.0 or a TOEFL 175 (computerised test). You must be at least 17 years old to join our University Foundation Programme.
