Entry Requirements
The criteria for International House London’s University Foundation Programme are varied and depend to some extent on the individual student. In general we expect you to have completed and achieved good marks in your high school diploma (the equivalent of 11 years of education in your own country). The following school-leaving qualifications are accepted as meeting the entry requirements for our University Foundation Course.
- Arab States - Tawjihiya, Thanawia, General Secondary School Certificate
- Brunei - O Levels
- China - Senior High School Certificate
- Europe - Secondary School Leaving Certificate
- Greece / Cyprus - Apolytirion
- India - CBSE or ICSE
- Japan - School Leaving Certificate
- Malaysia - SPM
- Nigeria - West Africa Examinations Council
- Pakistan - Intermediate Certificate
- Korea - School Leaving Certificate
- Taiwan - Senior High School Certificate
- Thailand - Mathayom 6
- Turkey - State/Private High School Diploma
English language entry requirements
Applicants for the University Foundation Programme must prove an intermediate standard of competence in English; with the equivalent of an IELTS score of 5.0 or TOEFL 175 (computerised test). You must be at least 16 years old to take the University Foundation or Pre-Foundation Programme.
