University Foundation Programme Assessment
For all courses, students are assessed on both their academic English ability and their performance in the core subject of law, engineering or business.
The academic English module is assessed by the student’s IELTS score and the pass mark is 6.5.
The subject modules are assessed by a combination of two formal examinations and coursework throughout the Foundation Programme. The final mark is a combination of the coursework and examination marks.
