Executive English for Engineering

Our one-to-one English for Engineering course is for practising business people in any discipline of engineering, whose first language is not English. Course content is led by your objectives and areas of interest, topics include technical manuals, the construction industry, tools and equipment, computer-assisted design (CAD), safety issues and engines, power and mechanics.

Course overview

  • During this two-week course, you work with an assigned tutor to extend your engineering vocabulary; increase fluency and confidence in conversation; develop listening skills and discuss current engineering issues.
  • Minimum entry level for our Executive English for Engineering course is mid intermediate (CEF B1). You should also be 21 or over.
  • You can study this course intensively (six 55-minute lessons per day) or semi-intensively (three 55-minute lessons per day in the morning or afternoon).
  • If you study this course on a semi-intensive basis, we recommend that you combine it with a morning or afternoon Business English Group Course .
  • Executive English for IT can be run as a one-week programme for closed company groups.
