Executive English for Medicine

Executive English for Medicine is perfect for non-native speaking doctors, nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals looking to improve their English language proficiency. The course is run on a one-to-one basis, with a dedicated teacher, so lessons are built around your specific requirements.

Course overview

• You can choose what topics to focus on when developing your core English language skills. Topics include clinical medicine, third-world medical issues, presenting research and medical education.
• In a wider context the course extends your medical vocabulary, increases fluency in presentations and meetings, dissects current medical issues and improves your use of statistics in reports/presentations.
• Minimum entry level for our Executive English for Medicine course is mid intermediate (CEF B1). You should also be 21 or over.
• You can study this course intensively (six 55-minute lessons per day) or semi-intensively (three 55-minute lessons per day in the morning or afternoon).
• If you study this course on a semi-intensive basis, we recommend that you combine it with a morning or afternoon Executive English group course .
• Executive English for Medicine can be run as a one-week programme for closed company groups.
