Executive English for Politics and Diplomacy

If you work in the political or diplomatic fields, our one-to-one English for Politics and Diplomacy course helps you gain a comprehensive understanding of the core English language skills you will need. Using a variety of approaches, our experienced staff improve your performance in high-level discussions, media briefings and international negotiations.

Course overview

  • Areas of focus for the Political and Diplomatic English language course include current geo-political issues, dealing with the media, defence policy, trade agreements, presenting government policy and issues of local government.
  • This one-to-one course is tailored to your specific political/diplomatic language objectives via a pre-course needs analysis form.
  • Minimum entry level for our Executive English for Politics and Diplomacy is mid intermediate (CEF B1). You should also be 21 or over.
  • You can study this course intensively (six 55-minute lessons per day) or semi-intensively (three 55-minute lessons per day in the morning or afternoon).
  • If you study this course on a semi-intensive basis, we recommend that you combine it with a morning or afternoon Business English Group Course or Executive English group course .
  • English for Politics and Diplomacy can be run as a one-week programme for closed company groups.
