Do I need insurance to study at International House?

School fees are not refundable or transferable, so we strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive insurance which covers the reimbursement of fees.

International House has negotiated favourable rates with C3 - Allianz Insurance Plc. They offer insurance that is tailor-made for English language students.

I have a complaint to make. Who can I speak to?

For everyday problems, you can talk to your teacher in the first instance. For more serious problems you can speak to the Director of Studies. If you still feel dissatisfied you can put your complaint in writing to the Director of the School via Reception.

I want to apply for an IELTS exam, what should I do?

The IELTS office (ground floor – end of the corridor) is open Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 11:30am. Please complete the application form, bring a photocopy of your passport, 2 identical photographs and £105 (cash, cheque or credit/debit card).

I have a question regarding Practice Lessons, what should I do?

You need to go to the Practice Lessons desk (ground floor – end of the corridor) during opening hours (Tuesdays 3 - 6pm; Wednesdays and Thursdays 12.45 to 3.45pm).
