Do I need insurance to study at International House?
School fees are not refundable or transferable, so we strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive insurance which covers the reimbursement of fees.
International House has negotiated favourable rates with Guard.me. They offer insurance that is tailor-made for English language students.

I have a question regarding Practice Lessons, what should I do?
You need to go to the Practice Lessons desk (ground floor – end of the corridor) during opening hours (Mondays 15.00 - 18.00; Tuesday to Friday 12.30 to 15.30).
When do I receive my certificate?
Your teacher should give it to you on the last day of your course. If this doesn’t happen students can come to Reception and ask for a ‘Document Request Form’. Please note that this takes 5 working days to be issued.
I need to speak to my teacher. What can I do?
Please try to speak to your teacher when you are in class. If you urgently need to speak to a teacher outside class hours, please come to Reception and we will call the staffroom and see if they are available. Please note, Reception don’t hold contact details of teachers when they are not in the school.
I have questions about my attendance, who should I ask?
Please see the General English Administrator (ground floor – office next to Reception) on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 to 13:30.
