IH Oxford’s spring and summer schools are held at St Edward’s School in Oxford: a perfect location for children and teenagers to learn English in England.

St Edward's was founded in 1863 and is one of England's most prestigious boarding schools. It combines state of the art teaching, sporting and accommodation facilities in a beautiful and historic setting. And all a short walk from the centre of Oxford.

The grounds of St Edward's are secure and private providing students with a relaxing and safe environment.

Outstanding sports facilities

Sports facilities include a golf course, all-weather tennis courts, football pitches, an indoor sports hall, multi-sports fields and indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

Access to technology

Class rooms are modern and well-equipped with computer access and projection facilities. Common lounge areas have computers with internet access and flat-screen TVs.

A home from home

The boarding accommodation at St Edward's is modern and spacious with houses allocated to either boys or girls. Each house has a live-in supervisor and secure entry-code access.

Single, twin, triple, quad and multi-bed rooms are available. There are plenty of bathrooms in each house and most rooms have a sink or ensuite facilities.

Houses also have a common room area for students to relax with their new friends and meet with their house supervisor each evening. 

Healthy food for hungry minds

Meals are provided in the school’s large dining room where students serve themselves from a buffet with a variety of hot and cold dishes. Three meals are served each day including plenty of salads, fruit and juices.

Light refreshments and drinks are available throughout the day.
