“Learn English, Explore the UK, Love our planet”.
Spread across 6 regions in the UK, Young Learners is a course provided by International House Organisation which invites students from all over the world to study and learn English in the UK throughout the summer. Aimed at age groups between 8-17, Young Learners prides itself on high-quality education whilst keeping the safety and wellbeing of each student a priority. Overall, we aim to inspire and fuel your child for their journey ahead and 2020 is no exception to this as bring on board a new innovation.
As we head toward the new year, we at International House London have decided to adopt a particular initiative from the SDG’s (Sustainable Development Goals). Put together by world leaders and other governing bodies, the 17 SDG’s are measurable goals for the people and the planet which are aimed to be achieved by 2030.
To simplify this, we have decided to take on board the 13th goal from the 17 as displayed below.
SDG – Goal 13
Putting this into practice, we at International House London are proud to be the first language school to incorporate carbon emissions into our summer programme. Not only will be planting trees for every student who attends our summer programme, but we will also be offering them the chance to choose which charity they would like to support to offset their emissions from their flights. As a result, we will be raising awareness and educating our Young Learners about climate action whilst allowing them the choice of who they wish to support.
In addition to this, our English summer camp prices include all accommodation, social activities, trips to famous places, all teaching materials and more. Our Young Learners will be getting a hands-on learning experience in learning the English language whilst getting the opportunity to visit iconic locations in the UK and of course to make friends.
