Explore English Online for students aged 12 -17

Your child will follow a weekly programme of 6 hours of live English lessons, 1.5 hours of conversation club, and a choice of daily activities to take part in with other young learners from all over the world. Activities include coding, music, art, sport, drama, book clubs, dance class, movie clubs and so much more!

Safe online environment

Students can learn English, have fun, boost their confidence, all within the safety of their home. All our teachers are DBS checked, classrooms are password protected, teachers control access to the classroom, and all students need to officially register with IH London to gain access.

Live online classes with our qualified teachers

The lessons are live and interactive, with fun activities and group work with other students. All your child needs is a laptop, tablet or phone. There is also an online social programme included with every course.

Who is this course for?

Our Explore English course is for students aged 12-17 who want to improve their English in an online international environment. As well as improving their vocabulary they will interact with students from across the world and learn about other cultures through our weekly themes. This course gives students an international experience from their own home with a range of engaging social activities.

Course content

Students will follow a programme of 6 hours of English lessons and 1.5 hour conversation club each week with a choice of daily activities to take part in. Activities include coding, music, art, sport, drama, book clubs, dance class, movie clubs and more.

All lessons are delivered by qualified English teachers who specialise in supporting students in an online environment. Students follow our weekly themes which allow them to improve their English while learning about other subjects. These include:

  • Environment (Our Planet)
  • World Culture (Our World)
  • News and Environment (Our Space)
  • Science and Technology (Our Future)
  • Our Community

As well as English lessons, our social programme allows students to continue to learn in a fun and relaxed international environment. Students practise their English inside and outside of the classroom, for the best learning experience.
