Course Overview

French Level 18 is an Intermediate course for students who have been studying the French language for quite some time and who are wanting to progress to a more advanced level. French Level 18 requires that you have previously studied French Level 17 or a course of at least 204 class hours. Course Content

Communicative aims

• Parler de faits de société (exemples: politique, environnement, culture et tradition)
• Exprimer son opinion et argumenter; parler des sujets de la vie courante (exemples: travail, temps libres, vacances)

Linguistic aims

• La voie passive; exprimer la certitude et le doute
• Les connecteurs logiques

Course Information

• Average class size: 8 (maximum 15)
• Students must be 18+ years old
• Existing language ability: 204 class hours of previous French language study required
• Classes will take place at our school in Covent Garden (16 Stukeley Street, Holborn, London WC2B 5LQ) 

Class Schedule

• The classes are 2 hours per week
• The course runs for 6 weeks
• The course takes place on weekday evenings 18:30 – 20:30
• The possible study options for this course are as follows:

Thursdays: 3rd April – 15th May 2025*

Wednesdays: 21st May – 25th June 2025

Tuesdays: 1st July – 5th August 2025

Thursdays: 14th August – 25th September 2025 **

Tuesdays: 30th September – 4th November 2025

Mondays: 10th November – 15th December 2025

*No lessons on 24th April. The course will consist of 6 lessons.
