Our story
Our story began in 1953, with our founders John Haycraft (CBE) and his wife Brita Haycraft who started a school because they believed in international communication and building communities across cultures.

Prepare for your Cambridge B2 First exam from anywhere in the world in our live Saturday online course. You will receive expert tuition and guidance and a variety of test taking tips as you prepare for this internationally recognised Cambridge B2 qualification.
You will develop your speaking, grammar, listening, vocabulary, writing and reading skills as well as strategies for the exam.
Students have access to class materials through our online.
Students must pass the required Entrance Test to join this course
Who is this course for?
The Cambridge B2 First qualification will prove that you have the language skills to live and work independently in an English-speaking country or study on courses taught at B2 Intermediate level.
You will be placed in an online class with people of a similar language level to you.

Course content
Live online group lessons with your teacher in a virtual classroom:
- Exam techniques and test-taking strategies that you need to pass the exam
- Full practice exam during the course and receive feedback and advice from your teacher
- Discuss a wide range of topics online to improve your fluency and accuracy
- Focus on different aspects of writing to develop your ability to write in different styles
- Listen and understand the main ideas on a wide variety of topics
- Read a range of texts, including news items, reports and articles
- Develop your range of language to help in each part of the exam.
- Use a wide range of motivating materials, including digital resources and coursebooks via our online platform.
Class Times
Saturday: 10.00 – 13.00 GMT with 20-minute break
3 lessons = 2 hours 45 minutes per week
