Course Overview

Online Turkish Level 1 is a Beginners course for students who have never studied the Turkish language before. Our Online Turkish language classes take place over Zoom with a qualified, experienced teacher and fellow students. Evening language classes at IH London are dynamic and interactive as the emphasis is on spoken communication, which is achieved through lots of group work and role-plays. At the same time, there is systematic work on grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, so that you can improve on all aspects of the language. Your teacher speaks in the target language throughout, so that you can refine your comprehension and listening skills. 

Course Content

This course is designed for those who have never studied Turkish before, aiming to provide you with enough knowledge and confidence to be able to hold a basic conversation in Turkish. The aim to provide you with the skills to be able to read and understand basic texts and even start writing your own ones.

Course Information

• Average class size: 8 (maximum 12)
• Students must be 18+ years old
• Existing language ability: this is a course for complete beginners
• Classes will take place over Zoom

Class Schedule

• The classes are 2 hours per week between 18.30-20.30
• The course runs for 6 weeks
• Start dates:

Tuesdays: 23rd of May – 27th of June 2023

Tuesdays: 4th of July – 8th of August 2023
