Course Overview
Croatian and Serbian level 7 is an A2 Pre-Intermediate course for students who have already completed our elementary courses. Croatian and Serbian level 7 requires that you have previously studied Croatian and Serbian level 6 or a course of at least 72 class hours.
Our Croatian and Serbaian language classes take place at our school in Covent Garden with a qualified, experienced teacher and fellow students. Evening language classes at IH London are dynamic and interactive as the emphasis is on spoken communication, which is achieved through lots of group work and role-plays. At the same time, there is systematic work on grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, so that you can improve on all aspects of the language. Your teacher speaks in the target language throughout, so that you can refine your comprehension and listening skills.Communicative aims:• Describing your house/flat, your building, part of town where you live
• Speaking about past events

• Arranging to meet up for drinks and the movies

• Past tense
• Ordinal numbers
• Numbers 20 onwards
• Declension of adjectives and possessive pronouns – masculine/neuter endings
• Temporal genitive – prošlog vikenda
• Accusative of personal pronouns – short forms
• Reflexive verbs
• Nitko, ništa, nigdje, nikada
• Introduction to verbal aspect
