An online self-study course focused on the language skills, test techniques and strategies to achieve grade 6 and above in the Academic IELTS exam.

Outline

Through the IELTS Self study programme you will gain 3 months access to the online self-study materials. Completion of the materials usually takes around 50-hours. IELTS Self study will give you the language skills and the test techniques and strategies required to achieve grade 6 and above in each of the four papers of the IELTS test. 

Contents of this course include test insights, multiple practice activities, explanatory videos and model answers. You’ll get access to:

• Modules on each of the four papers: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking
• Essential study skills for each paper
• Clarity on what the IELTS examiners are looking for
• Details on how to answer IELTS test questions
• Suggestions on how to manage your time effectively in the IELTS test
• Examples of how to use formal, academic English
• Details of the grammar structures you need to know
• Tips on how to build your academic vocabulary

The materials are designed with those aiming for a B2 Upper-Intermediate level in the IELTS test (grade 6 and above on the IELTS grading system) but can be of help to all candidates looking for a study aid and assistance with exam techniques.
