Role: Exams Coordinator  

Salary: £25,200 – £27,300 per annum depending on experience  

Start date: April 2023 – May 2023  

Type of contract: Permanent  

Hours: 35 hours per week, (office based) in addition you will be required to work at least 7 test days on Saturdays per year. However, the company reserves the right to ask you to work an additional 3 Saturdays. Weekend work is paid in addition to the basic salary+ at least 1 Saturday test day per month paid additionally to basic salary  

Location: The role is based in our Cambridge office located in ARU, East Road, Cambridge, CB1 1PT

About International House 

International House London is an established and well-known language school, with over sixty years of experience in providing language courses and teacher training programmes. Role requirements: 

This exciting and varied role will entail working as part of a highly driven team, and wider exams department, to deliver pre and post-test administration, which involves ordering live test materials, communicating with candidates, bookings rooms, scheduling staff and preparing test day materials.  

In addition the postholder will be responsible for the timely and compliant delivery of test sessions and the destruction or return live test materials to all exam boards, enter and upload results and sign off pay claims. 

The roleholder will also help with managing secure storage and accurately record all test materials including live material, administrative materials, and candidate test materials, as well as effectively communicate with test day staff in person, face-to face, electronically and on the phone. 

Finally the roleholder will handle phone, e-mail and face-to-face enquires efficiently, maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensure appropriate resources are in place for tests, including ordering live material.
